I do not speak for bob in any way shape or form here, but I run a corp with my alt which is fairly small but rather cash rich. Before the troll brigade steps in, this is not a spy corp, bob-alt corp or anything. Its a genuine corp, and all of the corp members know that I run it.
All the corp does is mission run, build up a stockpile of isk & loot/rigs and once a pile of pre-fitted pvp ships is ready, we charge random low/sec + 0.0 banzai style then rebuild the stockpile. All loss's are covered by the corp, and corp wallet gets split regularly to keep people rich. The concept is simple - learn to make isk via pve/trading/manufacturing etc and learn to blow isk on pvp which is what the entire game market directly or indirectly depends upon.
But getting back on topic, I am in custoday of essentially the corps assets. I can obviously stick my fingers in and pull out a few salmon, but to me, its only isk and I dont really have the temptation since fun > isk. Its probebly just me, but I have always been like that even in the first few corps I joined. Getting a few bil is basically only time, but you can never get back your respect from yourself if you steal a penny.
But for some CEO's, they regard isk as everything, and many a player is in a corp with a single one-way contributing relationship, never to hear of anyone getting any benifit from thir contribution. Sometimes that is ok, since a lot goes on behind the scenes, but this is eve and we all know that there is large numbers of CEO scammers who leech a corp till their players leave, then they recruit more.
The alt-corp I run, everyone has read-only wallet access, can see what is in all hangers and everyone has security officer role. I never get any questions as to where corp assets are going because they can see how many pvp ships are getting built and where the isk from there wallets is going. In fact, this actually helps corp objectives since corpmates see directly their contribution, trading stratagies and at the end of the day, brings more understanding & fun into this game.
And if a group of people cannot have fun, then I am sure there are better things to spend a subscription upon.
